In the past it has been a nice support level for our ATHM but now it will be a resistance point. I am curious as to how well ATHM will hold up on the next downturn. Psychologically, the price being well under $100 should keep the panic to a minimum. I am looking for a sell off @ $70 if we break through $60 this week. Many got in around $140 and they will be dumping at the first sign of weakness above that level. I look to cut back on 50% of my position at that point and will dump the remainder of my position @ $160 level awaiting the next pull back. This of course is in retrospect to future economic data. I notice AOL getting more in bed with Direct TV: dailynews.yahoo.com I assume this means a downlink of pages and reply through the phone lines? They are not thinking of something really new like having 2way communication to satellites with transponders, are they? I am sure this is still out of the question. This means you can download ok but you are in for a surprise if you think you can email out a 15 meg tiff file in a few seconds. For most stuff it will be good.

Eric thanks for the graph: techstocks.com My take on the yellow line is that we only crossed it down on the negative news of the Portland Ruling on June 4th. That black cloud is not as dark as it was on that Black Friday so crossing that $60 line is no big deal. This morning action is just market makers trying a shakeout as they take advantage of general market opening today. We are on an uptrend and market makers need to load up their ATHM inventory. My take we will cross 60 today.
