Maximum upload speed with Satelite Internet Access is 56k. While the download speeds are quick and match that of cable modem, you need a phone line to upload data. So you receive at cable modem speed, but you need a modem to send data via normal phone lines thus limited to 56k.

This is true. Go to any satelite internet dealer to confirm for yourself. Pretty lousy if you ask me.
