Maximum upload speed with Satelite Internet Access is 56k. While the download speeds are quick and match that of cable modem, you need a phone line to upload data. So you receive at cable modem speed, but you need a modem to send data via normal phone lines thus limited to 56k. This is true. Go to any satelite internet dealer to confirm for yourself.
