- I just don't see the valuations companies such as AOL have vis-a-vis a MSFT

- I mean, if these free & low-cost on-line services flourish, isn't AOL finished?

- And the Amazon's, which haven't even turned a profit... on selling books & records....

- PS - Nick - "conservative" means a lot of things - & I use it to mean libertarian - as you'll note that conservatives are now for school vouchers - something the so-caled liberals despise. By the way, if we had school vouchers, MSFT & education software makers wouldn't be an addenum in classrooms - but they'd flourish - as they do in business.
