Stephen - Re: "How much money does it take to make you guys happy....A billion dollars? "

I could probably live on a Billion Dollars - but I would have to cut back on some of my discretionary spending..

No, the expression I believe is "Love of money is the root of all evil." I love money so little that I spend every cent I can make or borrow. Every time Intel goes down I just delay my retirement a few months more. Motivation by impoverishment. Working myself into a late grave.

Ever hear of the expression..."money is the root of all evil"...

"Let me give you a tip on a clue to men's characters: the man who damns money has obtained it dishonorably; the man who respects it has earned it.

Run for your life from any man who tells you money is evil. That sentence is the leper's bell of an approaching looter."
-- Francisco d'Anconia in Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

FWIW,

I wholly agree with your sentiments. Greed and consumerism are at the heart of everything wrong with our society. We work 50+ hours/week to buy things we do not need and have little time to spend on the truly precious things in life.
