Old time geeks and readers of PC Week know "Tabby" aka "Furball" aka "El Gato" aka "Fat Cat" (although I hear he has shed some fur) as another name for Spencer Katt, yet another name or pseudonym for a columnist who writes a regular industry gossip piece for PC Week. He is a great source for inside changes in the IT industry, but by the time you read it in PCW, it's mostly history. His style is always to poke as much fun as the PCW Editorial staff allows. I go right to the back of the mag to read his column.
