hey eagle,

i was hoping to hear back that you were able to access (edit) your cache settings. :(

i strongly recommend visiting netscape usergroups again (didn't you go there before?). if you don't know the way, you can get there through the faq site

ufaq.org

i've obtained some wonderful help there. almost as good as this thread. <g3>

quick note on your norton question... i have systemworks installed, and i can empty recycle bin. i also noticed no diff with communicator4.51 preference settings. i change things in there with ease. and norton has no role in the process.

i hope you get to the bottom of this, eagle.

:)
