My feeling is that drugstore.com's leadership did not emerge until the Amazon investment. In fact, planetrx was ahead... that was my own determination. My point is that they are indeed a Kleiner child but that does not guarantee that they will wipe everybody else out. It was the Amazon management that did it, and it took about 2 mos. Now planetrx is struggling to catch up, they have copied amzn "3 for free" promotion and are having fulfillment problems, etc. Another bnbn situation where the only way to stay afloat is to copy the competition.
