Two downgrades so far. We need more. The shorts must be really panicking when they see Q go up on downgrades. Means Q is never coming back. Still find its fair value level at around 150.

the arrogant who ignore the technicals are bound to suffer occasional 15-30% declines which they cannot explain

Depends on the strategy. Some (eg, buying out-of-the-money short term calls) are gambling, some (eg, buying 2002 LEAP calls) are fairly conservative, and some (eg, shorting puts) are less risky than buying shares.
