Consumers: Wood Facts
Canada exports more forest products than any other type of products.
In 1994, Canada exported $32 billion of forest products, which was the largest net contribution to the nation's balance of trade.
Canada has 10% of the world's forests, and accounts for 18% of the world's forest exports. We have set aside large areas as parks, reserves or conservation areas - over 500,000 square kilometres. Last year we harvested only one quarter of one percent of Canada's forests - and we planted more trees than we cut down.

Sustainable forest management means that Canada will continue to have preserved forest areas and more than enough forest products to export to other countries, for generations to come.

Joe,

My calculations given the current information and that lumber sales accounted for only 2/3 of the quarter and using a conservative P/E of 10 would give us a true value of $2.18 per share.

Currently our stock price is @ .075/.078. I currently see a SLIGHT (LOL)undervaluation going on here. Once the summer doldrums disappear, we should see Fall heating up. That will be nice considering I live in Minnesota. brrrrrr!! LOL
