World Wide Wireless Communications Announces Joint Venture With ESN Satellite & Cable Television Network Agreement To Provide For Wireless Internet Service Throughout Ghana June 22, 1999 10:36 AM SAN FRANCISCO, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- World Wide Wireless Communications, Inc. WLGS and ESN Satellite & Cable TV Network of Ghana, West Africa, have announced their intention to commence broad bandwidth wireless Internet and data services (MMDS) throughout Ghana. This agreement will create the first wireless Internet, data, and IP telephone service in the country. The ability to provide access speeds of up to 10 Megabytes per second to business and homes without costly infrastructure improvements, is seen in Ghana as a distinct advantage in the stable and fast developing West African nation.
