whoa, if that's true and CREAF can pull it off, then i REALLY have to give CREAF some credit. First off it's eliminating it's #1 (and most hated) competitor in the PC upgrade market and secondly by letting S3 spin off DIMDs businesses, it will create smaller (and weaker) competitors that it can finish off at will. That will leave CREAF as the TRUE multimedia company. Effectively killing off Aureal, the only threat to creaf's soundcard business. unfortunately, nVidia will also fall wayside. It's so simple it's probably true... conspiracies everywhere =)
