Merritt, I agree they stuffed the pc channels and that there are no sales to end customers. But, the boxes stuffed in the channel are full of DRAM sold at breakeven or a loss, IMHO. The stuffing really makes the most difference to IBM. Compaq is dead meat and HWP is pretending they aren't a PC co. But IBM will show decent numbers due to the stuff. Since the boxes are staying on the shelves, I am not buying new IBM puts until late this summer.
