M. Dell on now. Talking about Dell's Premier web pages for it's customers. Internet sales at 30% now, expecting to go to 50% by 2000. They're ahead in the direct model, now moving to the internet direct model. Going to do auctions on-line, but no details announced yet. Probably for things like refurbished computers to the consumer. Dell customers moving rapidly to PIII. World is not just about low-cost PCs. Dell can make a profit at $899 PC. Bill Griffeth wants to talk about consumer sales; Dell wants to talk about business sales [my note: Dell is focused primarily on business sales -- Gateway is the primary direct consumer PC company] Dell denies that PCs are a commodity.
