I picked this up from csy2k this morning. According to the poster "The Far Eastern Freight Conference announced yesterday that they will impose a millennium surcharge on goods shipped between Europe and Asia in the second half of 1999. They expect rises of up to 40 per cent in freight traffic as souvenirs and survival gear are transshipped."

Interesting, eh?
