>>Could you please tell me how many shares ANC has outstanding? Seems like an interesting story here with the numbers looking good now.<< Morning Jason, I received a call back from Lon Vining from Angoss and I asked him your question. I wanted to ensure that we had a up to date total of shares. As of May 12th/99, the Directors of the company converted their promissory notes (debt) into shares of the company. This added an additional 1,274,976 shares to the existing total. The dollar amount of this action translated to $242,500. What is really interesting is that they purchased these shares at @.19 cents! As a result, the current number of outstanding shares stands at 35,157,689. It is interesting to note that he told me that as far as he is aware, no insiders have registered to sell any of their shares. He also told me that they see the current share price as undervalued. But what is real interesting is that the Directors still went ahead and purchased these new shares at $.19. This means that they now have more of a vested interest at seeing the share price rise. To back up this statement about the shares being undervalued, he reminded me that last year the shareholders turned down a $.25 per share buyout offer. He also mentioned that their products are the only ones out there (that they know of) that are fully based on a Microsoft platform. They are also excited about their WEB accessed products as well. Now, I find it important to remember that this $.25 buyout offer was made was last year! In my opinion, the company has become a lot stronger since then. Their product offerings have been beefed up significantly, the consolidation efforts in the industry have begun to really heat up, and the market's understanding of the value of Data Mining has grown proportionately. So, people should be the judge whether the current share price deserves to be trading at a 66% discount to a buyout offer that shareholders (last year) felt was too low for the company. For what it is worth, I am holding on to my shares for a much better price. Crazy Canuk
