Kevin..I'm not short BRCM...haven't been in a while, but I am long CSCO, CNXT, CUBE, TERN, etc :-) I'm not silly and gunna fight the tape here.....

My point is this: BRCM is not the only game in town for broadband these days..but it's priced as if it still were. At some point...either all the other players get the PE, PS, etc expansion of BRCM...OR...BRCM's contracts to the mean. I believe the latter will happen sooner or later. I'd say by this fall something is gunna give one way or the other. The other factor I've been jawing about is BRCM going on a buying spee and that has already happened. If they do a big purchase....see you at 60 again and that is the biggest risk of this stock here IMO.

Kevin,

Some people either have money to burn or no sense or both.
I know a 21 year old fellow classmate with a big fat account at an
online broker that his father set up for him. He trades stocks at
a whim - if it's up he keeps it, if it's down he sells it. I asked
him if he looked at things like financials, the history of the company, it's brand equity, trends, you know that kind of useless
information. He said he couldn't care less. Enough said.

Kevin, BRCM has some of the best customers: COMS, CSCO, etc----the really big names in telecom have BRCM's chips.

Merrill Lynch has raised its target price to $150.

Art Samberg said this about BRCM: "If you're like me, and you like growth stocks and you like change, you have to buy companies that are
participating in massive change. Their stocks may get
ahead of themselves, but you buy some today, and if there
are any temporary disappointments, you buy more.

My first pick in this category is Broadcom."

And even James Cramer (the.street.com) picks it as one of his later summer plays on a dip.

This baby has a lot of legs to run----am starting to look at 2000 Leaps now.
