First Boeing 747 will land at Cochin International Airport on Monday Jun.21,99

Air India will operate Boeing 747 - Jumbo jets for the first time in Kerala from the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery from June 21.

The airport has already found a place in aviation history by being the first new airport in the country to begin commercial operations with an international flight. Air India's largest aircraft, Boeing 747 is capable of carrying 400 persons and 22 tonnes of cargo, and has a non-stop flight range from Kochi to London without any technical halt.

Flight timings of a few other crafts to be operated from Nedumbassery:-

Mumbai - Kochi - Abu Dhabi: Every Monday flight A1 701 from Mumbai will arrive at Kochi at 15:00 hrs and leave for Abu Dhabi at 16:00 hrs.

Abu Dhabi - Dubai - Kochi - Mumbai: Flight A1 700 will leave Abu Dhabi for Dubai at 19:10 hrs, on Mondays. The craft will leave Dubai at 20:50 hrs and arrive at Kochi the following day at 2:00 hrs. The same craft will leave for Mumbai at 3:00 hrs which will enable passengers to catch the connecting flights to London and New York.
