It's their clik disk drive that users have said they have had major problems with. I used to read the IOM thread regularly. Maybe they've ironed out the bugs. I just can't figure out why CNBC keeps mentioning IOM unless they are really hard up for any news today. So glad you're back!!

bobp...C.O.D. pertains mostly to the JAZ drives from IOM. When a cartridge is inserted into the drive a clicking sound is heard. It usually renders the cartridge useless. I have three Mac workstations and ALL three have experienced the problem. It's a pain to loose the info and the hardware at the same time. There is good news and bad news for IOM re: The Click of Death. The good news: IOM replaces the device and tries to restore the lost data free of charge. The bad news: Using my kind of failure rate as an indicator, you can guess as to what their profitability is and wonder what it could be.
