Steve, can you let us know what screen setup you use with Qcharts. I am also just starting out this week with Qcharts and can't seem to get comfortable with it.

TIA
Marshall

When TradeStation went to 2000i I purchased a new computer just for the program and was disappointed that it did not work very well for me. I tried WOW and it was hopeless to master. Aspen Graphics was primitive DOS-based junk although the database was excellent. PC Quote has the wrong number of bars per day and wrong ADX so threw that out. When I stumbled upon QCharts, which some of the other people on my site was using, I fell out of my chair! $80 a month plus exchange fees makes this the cheapest program. It has the right number of bars. The ADX formula is correct and the charts look exactly like the TradeStation/BMI combination, which of course, cost $267 a month plus exchange fees, not to mention that you can't go on holiday because the computer cannot come with you. QCharts has been a god send.

Steve,

I just signed on with IQ Charts about a month ago. I'm an EOD trader, so I get delayed feeds. But, I have access to RT all day, so that works for me.

I agree with your assessment. I am about ready to abandon WOW completely, and I've been with them for over 8 years. They aren't responsive to user calls for help and they have a different attitude since they became "data vendors".

It looks to me like IQC (and QCharts) will knock most of these EOD vendors off line in a short time. They still need to add some features, but they seem willing to listen and respond. Good enough for me!
