I agree on the "three year late" argument...

Tate has said again and again that Rambus technology is really good at "image manipulation". Take this to mean all the memory intensive video and voice apps which are coming down the line just as soon as the bandwidth is wide enough. Everyone wants their computer to be able to understand them and respond to them in ways that they are most comfortable (visually, auditory). Keystrokes are inefficient and a picture is worth a thousand words. Believe me, the trend will continue towards sensory input we are all most comfortable with....and that technology will be both microprocessor intensive (at least 1 gig.) and memory intensive. This spells Rambus.
