My thoughts on today's drop. It is quite rare that giant gaps up are immediately followed by any significant gains. This type of behavior is rather common to Internet stocks as a matter of fact. I think that most of what happened today has to do with day traders and momentum investors getting slaughtered. Kinda the crowd mentality. They all read about the huge movement in the eavening news and rush out to play it the following day.

By 14:00ish they collectively realize that it is not moving up and dump, not wanting to keep positions overnight.

Another factor, I believe, is the 'ole "buy the rumor sell the news" in regards to the mediametrix numbers. I base this on experience and the massive volume relative to GNET's current float.

In revenge, the specter of the split after close of 6/24 should make this a volatile stock tomorrow as well.
