I just came back from the PC Expo and Dell was not present. Does anyone know why they were not there as they usually have a big presence.

RE High Interest Rates on the 30 Year Bond

<<what is
absurd is not that the rate is 6%, but that CNBC and other media types are stating
this could be 1987 all over again. in 1987 the long bond was over 9% before the
market tumbled. everything is relative, but we have 6.06% compared to 9.35% in
1987 <<<

Darrell, this time around the tolerance has been lowered to 6% and if something is not done to correct this crisis we are going to get smashed as the talk of fear will become a self fulfilling prophecy.
We have a time bomb ticking here and after today there is going to be little tolerance for the long bond staying above 6%. Those people who have the power to do something better get off their butts and calm things down.
