ArtsCool... I use Waterhouse and have had my share of problems in the last couple years. I believe glitches and bugs and heavy volume trading problems are common for most ALL on-line brokers. Remember E-trade went down for days not long ago? Be sure you call the broker to verify any trade you make (if you can get through) or place a trade by phone saying you want the discount rate- the site is down. Most are obliging. I know this can be a Big problem for day traders wanting quick executions or those needing to get in or out of a positon fast. Thank goodness it doesn't happen all the time! On-line trading will improve as technology improves across the board. Overall though it is a great way to trade stock. Hope tomorrow is better for you! Regards.. Patherzen
