That's why I finally got out of 3Com about two months ago after owning it off and on for the last 5 years.

There is just not good guidance going forward and a lot of their units are getting marginalized!

COMS - is restructuring very cleverly. No one expected boffo earnings this quarter. And they beat estimates by a penny. They also own the #1 handheld delivery system in the world. They are actively suited as a takeover. Their valuation is 1/10 Of Cisco's (some of that for good reason) and the stock has made me a lot of money this month. More than you've made on Cisco. How does 21 to 31 in two months sound. Not bad. I expect a small dip now then an eventual double on my money here. Recent broker estimates have been as high as $80 this year even without a takeout. COMS is pure value and really going place now. Also probably the #1 most sought after takeover target in the tech world.
