After the close of Tuesday's trade, Standard & Poor's said Network Appliance (NTAP), Best Buy (BBY), and Vulcan Materials (VMC) will be added to the S&P 500 index. In afterhours Instinet trading: Network Appliance changed hands at 44 13/16, unchanged from its Tuesday close; Best Buy was at 63 1/2 from its Tuesday close of 60 3/4; Vulcan Materials wasn't trading on Instinet.
