ob, My next door neighbor works in drilling tools and drilling services. he says that demand for both (he works onshore North America is now picking up). That can only mean that more rigs are going back to work.....But note gas well permit number I posted for State of Texas last Sunday- about 690 permits vs 1728 permits issued as of this time for 1999 and 1998 respectively- just one indicator showing that there will be lots of demand for drilling/drilling services when demand returns....

Oilbabe, since FGI has a really "spikey" price pattern the volatility premiums on the calls are pretty good month to month. I'll sell calls against my stock for 6 months if I have to and get a good 6 month return of 60%, not bad for a stock that is "going nowhere". Since the chance of this company going belly up in the interim is slim, this stock becomes the perfect vehicle for writing covered calls. JMVVHO.

BTW a nice reversal today in the stock. FWIW.
