...Steven Romick, manager of UAM FPA Crescent didn't have anything good to say about buying LUCENT.

So is there any justification for buying any stock that has anything to do with tech? Maybe this jagoff Romick should give Al Greenspan a call.

Or, maybe I should send Romick an e-mail tomorrow and tell him that I sold off every last one of my 2 million shares of LU (yes, that's WAY more than I have) based on his advice.

Then I'll e-mail him one year from now and ask him how he could be so shortsighted.

I don't give a damn what LU's accounts receivable dept. looks like right now. Doesn't this guy know that the fat contract pending in Saudi (piecemeal as it may be) is just the tip of a monstrous global rollout? Who does he suppose is going to be in the thick of this action?

Look, there's always going to be some moron who hoots and hollers about a stock's downfall on the chance that he or she may be right. This guy's a fly on the wall looking to make a rep against the big boys on the Street. Selling today was due to the Nexabit "news," end of story.

Mark

Anonymous,

So what your saying is that LU (and CSCO and the rest of the market) went down today because of Worth Magazine?

Have you seen actual earnings growth over the past 3 years?

good luck with your magazine leads.

Is that the '63 recording of Dave in some far off place? I used that as the lead in for a Jazz radio show in the 70's.
