"touting him" - what does that mean? if someone disagrees with your view of him and his analysis they are now touting?? -- It seems you guys are very sensitive about anyone thinking the stock is going to take a dive. I think you should lighten up and accept that people have different views. As far as whether he has called it a short -- just read the posts over the last few days -- it is clear to all that he has re-issued a short rec and to deny that is to deny reality.
