Besides, there were numerous convictions arising out of the investigation, and the mandate of the Office is not to convict, but to investigate, including to clear, if necessary. Starr did his job. If anyone wants to get rid of the Independent Prosecutor statute, that is fine with me, but if it exists, it must rain equally on both parties:-)...

If you read your first post and my reply and then your reply it is very disappointing. I never found it necessay to attack you personally as you did me . Your assumption that I am niave and need to get a life is just an unfounded accusation and has no foundation in fact.Mabe we can get Ken Starr to investigate and Al D'Amato and Fred Thompson to subpeona some people and hold hearings. No one ever says "Gee, you know all those accusations, well the accused used their civil rights and refused to incriminate themselves and we never could find anything out so you know what there is no evidence and we are sorry." My experience is that when people attack other people in a personal infammatory way theat their own position may be emotionally charged nd weak on facts and logic. Of course we all have selective perception and see the things the way we want to see them. As an attorney, responsible for clients' wellbeing I hope you are more objective and less emotional as a litigator. Now, let's not demonize Jeb because his wife tried to beat customs. Anyone here who has every beat customs take two steps to the right...uh-oh there goes the planet off its axis again! YOURS IN GOOD HUMOR (as i said before
