All comodities have common denominator-US dollar, once Asian recovery start in honest, two things would happen, outflow of capital to Asia,
leading to collapse/stagnation of US MArket and weak dollar, as well as increased demand for oil, copper, nickel, aluminum, gold...
Natural Gas is immune (largely) from downside for reasons you have stated, but has large upside...
My holdings are mostly in natural gas...I give you my largest VLV, HTR
you know...PZE, XTO on NYSE and several divident-paying pipelines ENP, LEV, FGP.
If you are bullish on US Market/Dollar you should not be bullish on commodities or Asia play..and vice versa...
