Windsock, Re: This requires significant resources from AMD or their partners. A daunting task indeed.

Judging from the SS7 experience, both AMD and their partners
are not capable of executing it and added to that SS7 is just
an extension of S7 which Intel had already built the
infrastructure.

Don't know.

We can only speculate here: If K7 boxes are to appear in late July or early August, then the chipset and mobo should be about to ship shortly in order for the boxes to make the debut during that timeframe.
