LOL-- DOn't Northerners have chicken fried steak? One of the things my mother abhorred about the South was the way they ruined a good cut of beef. we were rare meat eaters and Southerners- at least in Virginia- cooked all the red out. Horrible. LIke cardboard. And they'd get physically ill at our table when my mother served a prime rib, standing proud and bloody.
