OT = out there.

Mary scared me so much I have to recommend that this stock be sold. It's too risky.

The FED is going to raise rates and delay and then they will have to raise them again and then they will delay. In the last month they got a respite due to the oil price increase briefly taking away the propensity to inflate. If they don't start a substantial tightening, they will lose control like they always have done. In every case what is coming is murder on companies like HSAC because loose money invites extremes of speculation.

And then we have Mary's clever 0% margin escapade. To what extent is this rife in the investment community? We already know about LTCM. When LTCM has been enabled to be replicated by the public, to what extent is the stock market secretly leveraged beyond comprehension? 0% margins! That's infinite leverage. And they can't be detected! And Etrade doesn't want to detect it! At least in '29 they knew they were 10%. Now we don't know what the effective initial margin requirement is but it may be near zero. Car 54 where are you?
