Waterhouse is taking verbal confirmations says this post from the RAgging Bull w! I''ve been trying to get into the Waterhouse IPO Center since 8pm and have gotten either 'IPO Center being upgraded to increase performance' or 'Backend Down.' And the scary part was my allocation was listed as 0 as compared to my order, so I called the 24 hour service center (1-800-555-3875) and hit 4 for the 'check existing order' option. I was on hold for 31 minutes before they got to me. Bottom line is the servers are overloaded and they took a verbal reconfirmation, asked for a number where I can be reached at 9am tomorrow and said I could check the webbroker 'way' before 9am tomorrow to see what the allocation is. Who knows, keep your fingers crossed...
