I like to see honest comparisons. This from the RB thread will say a lot about quality posting.FOR ALL BIDS SHAREHOLDERS:

I posted this initially in the wee hours of the
night so it may not have been read by many of you.
For those of you who have already read it and/or
commented on it, thanks... for others, give it a
read and give me your viewpoint. Thanx in
advance,

C DiP

The main reason that I believe BIDS trails some of the other auction co.'s in share price is because
of its tremendous STOCK FLOAT AND LACK OF
REVENUES...

The OUTSTANDING STOCK (approx.43mil) is a serious
weight on the long-term bouyancy of the stock
price of BIDS. With so many pieces of the pie to
spread around its difficult to hold a comparable
share price with competitors like UBID, or even
ONSL... Their shares outstanding are considerably
less than ours therefore the price per share
should be more than ours until we bring up our...

REVENUE: Our LACK OF REVENUE, IMO is the single
biggest reason for the lack of share price
movement in a positive way (I know some people
want to look at earnings but I feel, with most
Inets in the red, revenues are more relevant).
Even though progress has and is being made we are
WAY BEHIND THE OTHER COMPANIES IN THIS
DEPARTMENT!!!

In using ONSL as a quick comparison, I feel that
over the long haul BIDS will be the superior co.
(if not already) however how can you expect a
better share price when our revenues aren't even
IN THE SAME BALLPARK!!!... Godin (G-Dogg) is
comfortable with est. of $50mil.(cdn) for
99'(approx. $33mil.US) okay. BIDS had $20.7 (cdn)
in revenue for 98'(approx $13mil.US)... That's $70 mil.($47mil.us) in both real and estimated revenue for the years 1998 and 1999... ONSL HAD REVENUE OF $67.8 MIL.us FOR QTR 1 ALONE!!!

Since BIDS will not buy back any of its stock at
this time to lessen the share count, I believe
this stock cannot move AND SUSTAIN the stock
prices that we as shareholders would like to
see... This will only be accomplished when it
becomes noticeable to analysts and the knowing
public that BIDS deserves a MAJOR PREMIUM in
market cap over its competitors. To accomplish
this BIDS must show the world thru alliances
and/or mergers that they can bring in the strong
revenue stream and ramping growth needed for its
stock price premium.

I believe that BIDS is well on its way toward
achieving that but to expect a price in the high
teens or low 20's (us) at this time, with the lack of positive proof of ramping growth qtr. to qtr.
seems highly unlikely from my view.

Just a few pennies from da BIDS' pimp main man,

C DiP

Raid, I believe Victor is being VERY subjective. You might want to check out RB for yourself but don't be surprised at the low quality of the site overall. For sure there are one or maybe two posters at RB who have something to contribute, but overall it's about a 2 out of 10 site.

>>if you have really invested in BIDS, go to the RB site

Victor, thanks for the tip re: Raging Bull. It does present some interesting views. I will follow both SI and RB in hopes of gaining some valuable insight.
