Well, I worked in a much nicer place. And I can still remember having to wipe the ketchup bottles which the owner reused by filling them from a giant can. THere would be all these little teeny black fruit flies caught in the goopy stuff around the tops. I've never felt the same about restaurant ketchup since then. Some of the things you see done in kitchens as a waiter/waitress are pretty disgusting. On the other hand, some of the things I've done at home are, too.
