Todd,

Explain how becoming a listed security would make a difference.
At least now, what we have going is a cartel. One MM could always
break off and the rest have to follow. With NYSE, you have a monopoly. And IMHO, that may get pretty ugly.

Brian addressed moving to NYSE during the shareholders meeting. His words were that he didn't really see the purpose of changing exchanges. He cited Midway as being the only major interactive entertainment company on NYSE and ironically, also having one of the lowest PEs of the bunch. Some good the NYSE did them.

BTW, shorting is just as legal on NYSE as it is on NASDAQ. Only on NYSE, the MMs need to go through a specialist. Big deal.

Regards,

Vic

Well, at least that issue got broached at the shareholder's meeting.

<<AKLM double as in get back almost to where is was not so long ago?>>

Yes, Sigmund. Their misery is our opportunity.

<<Since when do institutions buy the Russell 2000? Not in recent memory, that's for sure ;o)>>

Yeah, Todd, not since April of 1998. Back when we all probably felt more like geniuses than we do now.

Anyway, I did a channel check at a big CompUSA yesterday. No THQ games except maybe half a dozen Nitro and Thunder. Looks like Rugrats is sold out. They likely won't see any more THQ WCW N64 games there.

I think we had a great quarter. Today's New America article and the upcoming RUT addition are also very helpful, IMO. It would be helpful if everyone could try to do a channel check or two once Rugrats 64 is released.

Every day is a day closer to Christmas. (Ah, the life of a THQ investor.)

Marc

Edit--Btw, I think Mr. Fender was just trying to explain why the seemingly large short interest isn't necessarily all that it seems. Not explain why THQ of all stocks has it. Cramer had a great piece today about how you can't really game short interest.
