Does anyone know who brought the shares to market for this IPO. I heard it was CS First Boston. Waterhouse customers are being allocated shares on a worldwide basis. Would this have any different if Merrill Lynch brought the IPO to market? My argument is that the Goldman Sachs or Merrill Lynchs would have allocated a lot of shares to their super rich customers---then their broker would have sold getting the big commission. In this case individual traders are getting the shares. Most won't leave trading instructions and probably won't trade anyways. That means few sellers which would mean big price gains. Is my logic flawed?
