I don't think the internets will be down and dead after the effects of a bear, I think they will climb much stronger than any other sector.

Now that is something I can agree with. While I have no data to back it up, I suspect that after it's 90%+ fall between 1929 and 1933, GM did outperform the market for many years as cars continued to have an increasing impact. However that statement alone is not a compelling reason for buying today, as even good companies have a limit on their value. Would I buy CMGI at $30? Yes. Would I buy it at $150? Not this year.
