Strange. It should have them there. Regardless... You should have those two files there. Before you do anything, I'll refer you to one of my past posts on this topic: Message 8051423 It's key that you get a proper startup disk setup. You need to have the CONFIG.SYS load the proper CDROM driver, and get MSCDEX loaded to assign a drive letter to the CD-ROM. Next, if you haven't already backed up your data, do so. You would then want to run Scandisk on the drive before formatting it (recommended) Any questions? <g> Rich
