So how does a local ISP expand nationally? They sign up with Ziplink (ZIPL) a recent IPO that sells wholesale internet access. Ziplink is also positioned to lease access to users of web appliances, i.e. Web-enabled TVs, Internet telephones, and personal data assistants Ziplink, Inc. is a national provider of wholesale internet access services to developers and vendors of internet appliances and local, regional and national internet service providers. (From Yahoo Profile) Trading points: -- ZipLink is an Access Partner with WebTV, providing dial-up access to their customers. -- 3.5 mil shares float...12.7 mil outstanding -- The stock traded over 8X volume today and has a very good base in the 12 - 12.5 range (downside) and an upside that, well who knows, could be much more than a double. Check out their website ziplink.com and see all that they are about. One thing is for sure...the net will get much bigger with appliances and not just computers as access points! I think that this one got overlooked and was brought to me by a fund manager that really liked it. Good luck on your trades.
