thebeach: Excellent question...out of 32 analyst's polled (I believe after conference call) 66% of them gave strong buy, and buy...don't know about how many holds/sells. I'll take the 66% opinion...odds are in favor of upgrade or two. If earnings had not been met...I think the stock would lose at least 8-10%...I'll hedge and say we may see a 2-3% pull back tommorrow depending upon how the news is digested tonight. Don't like to go by "gut feeling" but I don't think WS is going to be tough on 3com tommorrow...we may move upward...if analyst's are projecting forward qtrs given the strong performance with the Palms. Claflin's comments were well received and he has quite a bit of respect on WS...they may very well ignor Benhamou's side stepping and opt for Claflin's viewpoint. I think Benhamou's days are numbered and the street may recognize that and will react in a positive manner tommorrow...they are usually way ahead of us in their perceptions as to what is coming down the road! Strong volumn with minor profit taking will is what I am expecting. A lot of investors have bought in the 20's and may be tempted to remove some of their profits but not all...they will hedge. Hal
