OK, now he has flip-flopped again, and wanted me to call the agent and tell her that we didn't want to pull the contract. I said I wasn't going to do it, if he wanted the house, after all, then he could call the agent and explain what happened. He sort of raged for about an hour this morning and finally called her, turns out she was still at home and hadn't got the fax yet.

I wish he had been this indecisive about getting married.

I am not going to say another word about houses until I actually see the deed in my hand.
