Hah! What a great post Neocon! I'm convinced, a little. Tell you what I'll do. I'll give George another few bucks. He deserves it if not for entertainment, at least for effort. When I return, I'll try to see the thing again with different expectations. I'll simply try to enjoy the ride, accepting that silly characters and their hollow lines actually exist in that world. I'll also try to see if young Obi Won is as irritating as DMA claims.

Leia don't got no moxie! She just runs her mouth but needs a man as much as any womyn. You wanna know a woman with moxie? Trinity from "The Matrix." DAAAANG! When I first saw her I thought "Hmmmm. She frightens me. Yup. Uhm DEFINEY sced."

Neocon, I can't find the post where you mentioned Jedi as your favorite of the original Star Wars saga. Interestingly, I have the exact opposite take on it than you do. I thought Empire Strikes Back was the very best, then the original Star Wars, then Jedi a distant third, and I have heard this new one is the worst. Isn't that funny. Of course its all relative they are all pretty good movies compared to say, Godzilla. I don't like cute things in science fiction movies or sentimentality which is why I didn't like Jedi and those cute furry ewoks. I like 70s science fiction paranoia films too like the Forbin Project - I'll bet you don't like those. And I liked Contact as I told you once.
