RR: Yes...he certainly sidesteped to some extent but did come back and respond as you've reported. So...he has added a spark onto the speculation issue. This is interesting...maybe the Board has him on the "sidelines" and will tell him when he is to make a major announcement relative to divestiture. Many of the experts as well as WS have been telling Benhamou and the Board that divestiture is necessary...I think the Board has focused upon it and it is not a matter of how but when. I think Ericcson is going to make an announcement in a couple of weeks relative to their position with 3com...could resolve this divestiture topic...I think they are going to purchase a piece of 3com. Ericcson is already in an alliance with 3com and if they were going to take a stronger position...they would have announced it by now. No...I think Ericcson is going to buy off a segment of 3com that will compliment their organization. This will drive the stock upward and could have an effect upon the stock buy back situation. I would think that the 15M shares to be repurchased would be at the lowest price they could attain and then make the divestiture announcement. What is your take bgg??? Does this sound correct?
