Stupid questions of the day:

Since Qwest is providing long distance telephone service, I see their competitors as being companies like AT&T, WCOM, etc.

Not the Baby Bells.

People are saying what Qwest needs now is customers.

Why not an aggressive marketing campaign to gain customers by offering the same service for less money than your competitors? Cut the costs low enough that T can't compete without losing money.

Why spend billions for customers when you can get them over time for free when customers migrate over to your lesser-cost service?
