What I had to do is manually go into Navigator\|Edit\|Preferences\|Advanced\|Proxies and delete the 127.0.0.1:8080 and everything is now back to normal. I suppose I should co more regular backups as you suggest, but since 97+% of everything I need is already on remote servers, it is one task I have deferred. Please tell me more about Mytrack, I am not familiar with it. Do you have a URL or FAQ on it? For real-time quotes I generally rely on Schwab. I almost never swing trade or day trade so RT quotes are something I find to be basically a distraction to my real goals, which is to find stocks for the long term that my heirs and successors can pay the cap gains on.
