From a long term perspective, I don't like this.

But, from a short term perspective, if they get their $600 million, that leaves MRVC with 78% of revenues intact, plus the new acquisitions about to have revenue, and about $700 million cash in the bank.

Say they buy back 1/2 their stock at an average of $15.

13 million shares at $15 is $195 million

They not only raise the price, but they double their EPS and still have $500 million in the bank.

What am I missing?

We ought to see BIG TIME short covering too.
