Chuck, What do you make of Tom's review of RDRAM? It is very well written and fascinating. Camino/DRDRAM doesn't offer any advantage on the motherboard of current generation systems, and the current cost is about 10X. The other side of the story, which Tom didn't cover, is that DRDRAM will provide huge performance benefits for graphics adapters and other types of boards which use imbedded DRAM. Scumbria

However, this does contradict two anecdotal reports, one by Tigerpaw and one by someone on Rambus thread, who say that they've observed systems side-by-side, drdram vs sdram, and drdram looked faster.
