Economic theory will tell you that in a competitive , commodity situation no one player has the power to make any lasting changes.
I think you're dreaming about QNTM acquiring MXTR. It doesn't fit their model at all and is probably prohibited by their agreement with MKE, their exclusive manufacturer. It probably wouldn't make a lasting change anyway just as SEG's Conner acquisition didn't help for long.
